GWML ALUM OPPORTUNITY: Inside the Venue Experience

Ever wondered what it takes to run a live music venue? 👀

Grace Weber’s Music Lab is partnering with Landmark Credit Union Live to present “Inside the Venue: Careers in Live Entertainment” — a behind-the-scenes experience designed with GWML alumni in mind, & open to select current students (ages 16–23).

Participants will:

• Tour a live venue

• Connect with industry professionals

• Sit in on a live panel & Q&A

• Learn how real show days operate from load-in to showtime

From General Managers to Production & Box Office teams, this is a chance to explore real career pathways in live entertainment—& how those pathways can lead to future opportunities.

GWML TEEN OPEN MIC SIGN-UP

**PLEASE READ FIRST!**

NOTE: Submitting this form does not guarantee a performance slot. Selected performers will receive a confirmation email to finalize participation.

The Teen Open Mic is NOT a requirement but an option for youth attending GWML. Students must RSVP separately in the first form above & register beforehand to participate in the teen open mic. Please fill out the general RSVP form before proceeding to sign up for the teen open mic. Students not signed up for both will not be fully considered & registered to perform. Slots are limited & filled on a first-come, first-CONSIDERED basis. (To ensure a fair mix of new & returning artists, GWML will aim to rotate performers each month.) Teen open mic sign-up list will close once slots are filled or by noon the day before Lab at the latest; sign-ups for open mic on the day of Lab will not be permitted.

GUIDELINES (PLEASE READ!!)

  • Unless otherwise noted, GWML teen open mic for students ages 13-18 only! (middle & high-school students)

  • All performance sign-ups will be confirmed via email by GWML ONLY, before the day of Lab

  • Replacements/substitutions for performers will not be accepted

  • Performances are limited to 1 song per act

  • All music & performances must be clean/profanity-free

  • Instrumental tracks for performance can be submitted in box below. Tracks or additional sound needs should be emailed ahead of performance to gwmusiclab@radiomilwaukee.org
